Student & Teacher

Love being the student and having the opportunity to learn and practice. Just got back from a three day in-person workshop. We social distanced, masked and sanitized as we painted along. So appreciated watching and listening and seeing the intuitive nature of this class; and then sprinkling a little “Kristin” on it.

I think that something clicked this time with the color mixing and watercolor washes. If you hear it enough, it will come to you. Lol!! And seriously, sometimes it takes hearing that subject a different way and multiple times….. I will be anxious to try this again at home.

I know I am a little off my usual blog schedule so I apologize. The beginning of April I was trying to make sure I was prepared for my Book Maker’s class. I survived! And have so appreciated hearing all the kinds words and seeing the fabulous pages and tags created along the way!!

Which leads me to my next teaching endeavor…. an in-person workshop at Dillman’s coming up in May. This resort offers a lot of art classes throughout the summer: Here is their full schedule for this year.

I will be doing a live demo this Saturday making an accordion book, if you have a little time and a cup of coffee come join me! There is more information available at this link below if you are interested:
