For the love of art #6daychallenge & Party Link
Who needs a little creative break from winter? Something to spark some happiness? Leaca Young has pulled together another 6day creative challenge for February.
I have had the best time making these valentines! Can you guess what my prompt is?! PINK
Who doesn’t love some pink?! (and if you don’t love pink-….keep that to yourself. LOL!)
I started with mixed media paper cut down to fit into my envelope. Once cut, I stamped with white embossing powder (remember this?), set, and then threw these cards into the “fusia” Rit dye bath.
I loved how some of the cards that were at the bottom of the stack were pinker than those I pulled first.
To make certain that the cards were sufficiently pink- I also sprayed with Dylusions Bubblegum to add a little pink variety.
Some stamping. Some typed words. A little sewing….. and poof! Swing by Leaca’s to see my video of the process.
