courage dear heart

with all of the things going on right now, COVID-19, social distancing, schools closing and grocery stores in general running low on things, times almost can’t be more stressful.

all of us handle this differently. the processing of information. how this information may or may not impact us. and then how to find some sort of sane in all of this…. I don’t necessarily have the answer.

but if you are a creative of any sort- this is our time.

to do. make. create. and keep busy. spread joy.

I started a list of people who had been spreading joy and kindness.

creatives putting things out there for others. kindness in a crazy world right now.

so if you are looking for a small distraction, (or maybe a big one) please, look at my list.

alisa burke- offering free online classes, color sheets

Jeanne Oliver- offered great advice for navigating this and how to stay creative and think outside of the box

Kasia Avery- pulled together a #soothemeartjournaling on instagram in her stories

Elizabeth Gilbert- had mentioned a way to connect to the here and now, and help stay grounded (which I thoroughly enjoyed)

Susie LaFond- offered up two of her online classes that haven’t been available for some time; you are gonna want these!

the 100day project will be coming up…. you could be cutting or making paper; getting organized to play in this with your home time, social distancing.

this is my list of good stuff so far and other creatives keep adding stuff and sending out creative kindness into the universe. I will update as I find other good things.

be well. keep safe. and keep your hands full of paint and glue.
