scrappy soul book happiness
this is my scrappy soul book that I made in my friend, Tiffany Smith’s scrappy soul book class.
totally enjoyed her approach to making the journal and pages.
I had been saving this book cover for a special project and this filled the bill perfectly.
the little duck had been a child books in a library discarded at some point and ended up in my stash.
I had removed the book itself and only had the cover and back; and cut it down to size- notice the masking tape along the bottom edge- that is where I cut it down to size.
I like small and square. that is my vibe.
looking at this just makes me happy. the bits and pieces loosely hanging out of the book. layered with different papers, fabric and finishes.
