making papers.
do you make papers? how do you use your papers?
I love making papers with almost anything. this one is a French accounting page that I found at an antique store in Tx. I like weaving the papers into junk journals and layering up someone else’s story with my own.
the beauty is leaving white space and allowing some words to peak through.
it is the randomness of the color and work. allowing the imperfection to simply be.
a scribble here. a drop there. a spritz of water to let some color run.
just play. no rules. no plan.
it is freeing.
and then, bind those papers into a art journal. use as collage in something else. and simply let the paper stand on its’ own.
