Faces can be intimidating……In this one day class Kristin will show you how to use a variety of materials and techniques to begin creating faces. We will walk through what makes a good face with face warms-up in pencil and pen to get us loosened up and then, work our way into using paint, watercolor, acrylics and collage; all the while being mindful of our color palette. We will explore different substrates while we work and push our boundaries. And finally, we will also dabble with image transfer to assist creating our mixed-media faces. This workshop will not be a traditional “how to paint a face” class; but will be, a gentle space of creativity and kindness.
